Equipment

  • 16 oz. mason jar or container

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ⅔ cup milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon nuts of choice almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds
  • ¾ cup raspberries fresh or frozen

Optional toppings

  • dark chocolate chunks
  • cacao nibs
  • vanilla greek yogurt
  • unsweetened coconut flakes
  • extra raspberries

Instructions

  • Combine your ingredients. Add all of the ingredients to a 16 ounce mason jar or container. Mix everything together with a spoon until well-combined. If you’re uring fresh raspberries, wait and add them the next morning to preserve their freshness.
  • Refrigerate overnight. Cover the jar with a lid and refrigerate overnight to allow the oats to soften and flavours to meld.
  • Add your desired toppings. In the morning, add any additional toppings like vanilla yogurt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate chunks, or extra raspberries.
  • Enjoy hot or cold. Enjoy these raspberry chocolate overnight oats straight from the fridge, or warm them up in the microwave for 90 seconds for a cozier breakfast.

Notes

  • Additional topping ideas: vanilla yogurt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate chunks, extra raspberries, unsweetened coconut
